The Cabin at River Bend Hills is a charming hilltop vacation rental atop a scenic ridge in a bend of the New River. Step inside and feel like you are in the mountain cabin of your dreams: tall stone fireplace, stunning high ceilings with wooden steps up to a cozy loft, and Ralph-Lauren inspired furnishings that make you feel like you are in the heart of mountain country.
You will have breath-taking mountain views from every window.
From the front porch you'll have long range views of the New River. Enjoy coffee with sunrises to your left and wine with splendid sunsets on the right. You'll find a king-size bed in the first floor bedroom, and atop the loft steps, a cozy nook with two beds. With a new pull out sofa, the cabin sleeps six comfortably.
River Bend Hills is less than a 5 minute walk to the Clifton Road Bridge on the river, a great place to drop your tube or kayak and head north. Surrounded by a half dozen state parks with endless trails, there is no end to outdoor activities in the area. We are also just downstream from Helton Creek, a famous federally-stocked trout stream.
Less than 20 minutes away is the beautiful mountain town of West Jefferson, known for its historic murals, craft shops and antiques, gift shopping, breweries, wine bar, fine restaurants, renowned Ashe County cheese, and trendy western wear shops. You will truly be in the perfect location to do anything or nothing at all!
